The Île-à-la-Crosse School Settlement Facebook and YouTube pages were created to share information about the Settlement and claims process.

We are committed to keeping our online spaces safe, respectful, and inclusive for all class members, while also protecting personal privacy. Our Facebook and YouTube pages are moderated by community managers to help ensure that everyone feels comfortable engaging with our content. Moderation may include removing inappropriate comments or addressing misinformation to keep conversations respectful and accurate.

We reserve the right to remove all spam, advertising, or comments that:

• Share personal or private information
• Violate an individual’s privacy
• Include images of individuals
• Are off topic, intentionally misleading, or predatory
• Contain discriminatory, hateful, threatening, aggressive, abusive, or violent language
• Use vulgar, rude, offensive, or obscene language
• Target or attack other community members, page administrators, or staff
• Include inappropriate or disruptive conversations

These guidelines help us maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for everyone. If an individual repeatedly posts content that goes against these guidelines, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently restrict or block their ability to engage on our pages.

Engagement is also subject to Facebook and YouTube’s community standards and policies.

We monitor Facebook and YouTube from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., ET, excluding statutory holidays.

Where appropriate, we will respond to inquiries during these hours. We make every effort to reply in a timely manner; response times may be longer during periods of high volume.
